Jaime Torres Bodet (b. 1902, in Mexico City– d. 1974) was a large Mexican politician who served in the executive cabinet of trinity Presidents of Mexico.

Torres Bodet was appointive Secretary of Public Education by President Manuel �vila Camacho, then he served when a Minister of Foreign Affairs of President Miguel Alemán. Around 1958 he was appointed to served as Secretary of Public Education, this period under President Adolfo López Mateos.

Torres Bodet served when director-general of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) from 1948 to 1952.
